About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Mackenzie Charest. Welcome to my site!

Ever since I was born, I have lived in Scarborough, ME. My dad has been a pharmacist, working at our local Rite Aid, ever since I was born and everyday I ask him to tell me stories about who he talked to that day and what he had to do. I always put going into pharmacy in the back of my mind as I grew older, and I especially knew I wanted to pursue it once I learned about all the different types of pharmacy one can have a career in. My mom ran a day care for 21 years, so I always knew how to take care of kids and I enjoyed it. As I go through my 6 years of pharmacy school at the University of New England, I have the aspiration to become a clinical pharmacist specializing in pediatrics. I also have swam for 13 years. I was a high school swim captain for two years. I am currently swimming on the UNE varsity swim team.
